Personal profile

Dr Ying Chang is Associate Professor of Department of Urban Planning and Design at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) Design School. She is an educator, researcher and community planner. Her research interests include housing and community, built environment and public health, particularly for disadvantaged groups, such as elderly and migrants. She is keen in research and practices that improve access and equality for better quality of life, health and well-being. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

Dr Ying Chang has led research projects at national and local level. She was secuired funding from NSFC Young Scholar scheme and local government. She has provided consultancy service for the World Bank and local government on housing and community development.
