Personal profile

Xin Zhao is currently serving as a Teaching Lecturer in the Department of Urban Planning and Design at Xian Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU). Before joining XJTLU, Xin accumulated many years of professional experience in the fields of urban design and landscape architecture, both in international and Chinese contexts, including positions at renowned firms such as Sasaki and AECOM. She holds a dual Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture and Design Studies, with a specialized focus on Urbanism, Landscape, and Ecology, which she earned from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Xins primary research interests lie in the domains of landscape urbanism and waterfront regeneration.
