Dr. Shenhong WANG joined XJTLU as a Senior Associate Professor of Practice in July 2022 and takes the school acting dean from Dec 2023.
He received his education in Electronic Communication Engineering (BS, MS, PhD in 1996 / 1999 / 2006 separately) and his PhD research publications have >1000 citations over the years (Google Scholar "Shenhong Wang").
Then he collected up to two decades of practical engineering Research & Development including team leadership experience in segment-leading companies (telecom, printing, and elevator) . During that, he and his team finished many interesting R&D projects and made various innovative contributions that include >35 global patent applications in the 5 years before XJTLU (Google Patents "Shenhong Wang").
Now, apart from delivering high-quality teaching (robotics modeling, information system), he is keen to explore robotics and autonomous systems at multiple views (sensing, perception, action, collaboration, and system) on top of his previous expertise. The funding of his ongoing projects (PI without including Co-PI) is at 1.31 million RMB.
