Dr. Shenhong WANG joined XJTLU as a Senior Associate Professor of Practice in July 2022 and becomes Fellow of IET in 2024.
He received his education in Electronic Communication Engineering (BS, MS, PhD in 1996 / 1999 / 2006 separately) and his PhD research publications have >1000 citations over the years (Google Scholar "Shenhong Wang").
Then he collected up to two decades of practical engineering Research & Development including team leadership experience in segment-leading companies (telecom, printing, and elevator) . During that, he and his team finished many interesting R&D projects and achieved various innovative contributions that includes tens of global patent applications (Google Patents "Shenhong Wang").
Now, apart from delivering high-quality teaching (sensing technology, robotics modeling), he is keen to explore robotics and autonomous systems at multiple views (sensing, perception, action, collaboration, and system) on top of his previous expertise with external industrial funding these years.
