Yang Luo is an Assistant Professor at XJTLU with over 10 years of experience in research, industry, and teaching, specializing in advanced manufacturing research. He is a Chartered Engineer with the IMechE and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a member with the IET. His research focuses on Modelling and Control, with the application of Machine Learning and Deep Learning, driving innovations in AI for Manufacturing and Intelligent Agricultural Technologies. His current research includes industry-driven projects focused on eco-intelligent manufacturing and decarbonizing the manufacturing industry, with particular interests in AI-driven optimization with process optimization in manufacturing. With over 30 publications and editorial roles in prestigious journals and book series, Dr. Luo is committed to advancing knowledge in the application of machine learning and deep learning in different domains.
