XJTLU is my fifth successive teaching job in Asia, following stints in South Korea, Indonesia, and Myanmar.I am currently the Head of Division for Advanced EAP, meaning I am responsible for high-level English students in both Year 1 and Year 2.
Assessment and testing - validity and reliability in many testing systems is inadequate and requires more in-depth research, particularly in how teaching individuals / groups formulate a specific test
Needs assessments and analyses - the formulation, undertaking and analysis of needs assessments is critically important to the effectiveness of English-language and skills courses but is seldom completed in a thorough and valid manner
