I am the Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Linguistics, School of Humanities and Social Sciences teaching LNG301 Analysing Text. I hold a PhD in Second Language Education at Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. I have supervised undergraduates for the course Language, Communication and Literacy at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. I have also worked as the course facilitaor for MPhil in Research in Second Language Education at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. My research interests include mobile-assisted langauge learning (MALL), computer-assisted language learning (CALL) and AI-assisted language learning with a focus on second language acquisition. My research mainly employs mixed-methods, and I'm also interested in self-directed learning to help language learners build a life-long learning journey.
