Le Yao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Linguistics at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Her recent research primarily explores the intersection between Linguistics and Communication Studies. She has contributed research articles to reputable journals and disseminated research findings in international conferences such as ICA and IAMCR. Before her doctoral studies, Le Yao has spent over two years teaching at university level. Prior to her venture into academia, she gained practical experience by working in several international companies for a span of over two years.
