Rong Ma is an assistant professor in the Department of Media and Communication. She uses quantitative social scientific methods to research persuasive health messaging and the role of social identities in health communication. Dr. Ma has published articles in top-tier communication journals such as Communication Monographs, Journal of Health Communication, and Journal of Social and Personal Relationships.
Dr. Ma is currently accepting Ph.D. students.
