Dr. Yufan Zheng (郑羽帆) received his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alberta, Canada in 2020. In 2016, he got the MSc degree in Advanced Manufacturing Technology Systems Management at the University of Manchester, UK. He earned his B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from Southwest Jiaotong University in 2012.From 2020 to 2021, he was working as a postdoctoral fellow at the Laboratory of Intelligent Manufacturing, Design, and Automation (LIMDA), University of Alberta, leading the project of design and development of systems for autonomous repair technologies.Currently, Dr. Yufan Zheng is an Assistant Professor in the School of Intelligent Manufacturing Ecosystem, his research interests include Process Planning for Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence for Additive Manufacturing, Hybrid and Smart Manufacturing, Repairing Remanufacturing.Recruiting self-motivated Ph.D. students. Candidates with interests in intelligent manufacturing process planning, and scheduling optimization are encouraged to apply.
