Personal profile

Yi Lin joined XJTLU since 2013.  She earned her Ph.D. in organic chemistry from University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 (France), where she focused on the synthesis of calixarene-based supramolecules. Prior to joining XJTLU, she served as the Assistant Director of the R&D center at Xiamen Bioway Biotech Co. Ltd. From 2011 to 2013. Her main research interests include the development of novel organic semiconductor materials.

Research interests

Functional Materials

Design and synthesis of functional materials for diverse applications, including metal ion separation and detection, organic electronic devices, and Metal-Organic Frameworks/Covalent Organic Frameworks (MOF/COF), among others.

Organic Electronic Materials

Research into harnessing solar energy as a power resource for humanity is ongoing and has gained momentum as fossil fuel reserves continue to deplete. Organic electronic materials are typically low-cost, lightweight, and flexible, making them highly promising for converting sunlight into electricity to benefit society.

Supramolecular Chemistry

Supramolecular chemistry is a rapidly growing field with a wide range of applications, including molecular recognition, self-assembly, and complexation, among others.
