Dr Carl Philip T. Hedenstierna is an Associate Professor at IBSS, XJTLU. He investigates how to use data and technology to make better decisions in the face of uncertainty. Dr Hedenstierna takes a particular interest in solving real-world problems using novel forecasting and control methods for profit, demand satisfaction, and the avoidance of waste. He has conducted research with and advised companies in several sectors, including grocery retailing, consumer 3D printing, consumer packaged goods, and the automotive sector.Dr Hedenstierna’s research has been published in journals including the Journal of Operations Management, the European Journal of Operational Research, and the International Journal of Production Economics.His Google Scholar page is available athttps://scholar.google.com/citations?user=XNj9kLAAAAAJ
