Personal profile

Xi Chen obtained her BSc degree from Nankai University in 2012. She got her Ph.D. degree from the University of Hong Kong in 2017, supervised by Prof. Xiaodong Cui. Before she joined Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), she worked as a Research Associate in Prof. Liwei Chen's group at Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-bionics (SINANO), Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics, School of Mathematics and Physics at XJTLU. Her research interests lie in the following areas: (1). Characterization of nanostructured energy storage materials; (2). Characterization of energy storage devices for renewable energy-based systems; (3). Optical and electrical characterization of low-dimensional systems.
