Dr. Jingqiu Zhan received her Phd in Philosophy from Soochow University and has been working at the Chinese Culture Teaching Center  since she joined XJTLU in 2011.

The modules she has been teaching include one Compulsory Course entitled Outline of Chinese Modern History (Module code: CCT010) and two Optional Courses (one is The Story of Philosophy, the other Introduction to the history of Western civilization).

During the past few years, she has done research in both online and offline teaching methods. Being deeply involved in a university-level research project related to the evaluation of online teaching methods, she presented at the Conference of Academic International Conference on Multi-Disciplinary Studies and Education at the University of Oxford.

She also had much interest in the research of ordinary language philosophy, ecological civilization,etc., she had published several  pieces of papers in this area, including one in a SSCI Journal and several on some Chinese Core Journals.

She was invited to act as the editor of philosophy column at Poyang Lake Journal in 2023.
