Description
This workshop outlines some general principles of effective feedback to written coursework, and hen expand on these principles by reviewing some simple, practical methods that can be effective in a one-to-one tutorial setting. A key consideration is how to make giving feedback a more student-led, collaborative process, and how feedback can be tailored to the language in the marking descriptors. There is a additional focus on verbal feedback, explaining and clarifying the actions students must take to further improve their drafts.
