Abstract

XJTLU Department of Urban Planning and Design has tailored its urban design studios, including those at UG and PG levels, to cope with challenging issues arising in the New-Type Urbanisation process of China. We see Urban Design as an exploratory ‘process’ where we (re-)shape the human settlements to meet people’s changing needs, to facilitate socio-economic development, and to provide a vision for our common future.

The following is a collective exhibition of students’ learning outputs across different levels in the Academic Year 2023-24 Semester 1.

- From the Cre8Place Lab
