Abstract
The article deals with all the palaeo-anthropological and archaeological evidence related to the spread of human settlements and to the population dynamics in the territory of Acqui Terme (AL - Italy) between Palaeolithic and Bronze Age, by analysing the context also through the results of research based on mitochondrial DNA.
