Personal profile

Dr Yue (Yolanda) Yang got her B.Eng. and M.E. degrees in Flight Vehicle Design from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2014 and 2017. She worked in The First Aircraft Institute, AVIC for one year as an assistant engineer. Then, she received a Ph.D. degree in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Nottingham in 2022. Yue Yang is currently a lecturer in the School of Intelligent Manufacturing Ecosystem, Taicang campus, Xian Jiaotong-Liverpool University.

Cutting of CFRP and advanced material

Surface integrity analysis and micromechanics

Thermal analysis in additive manufacturing and laser-assisted machining
