Dr. Hao Jianli is a Senior Associate Professor of Civil Engineering, Xian Jiaotong-Liverpool University. She is the Chair of the University Ethics Committee. She has a proven track record of accomplishment of academic leadership in sustainable construction research. She earned her PhD from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2003. She is a member of the Chinese Research Institute of Construction Management (CRIOCM) and the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). She serves as a review editor for Frontiers in Energy Research. She is also on the editorial board of the International Journal of Construction Management (IJCM) and Detritus Journal. Dr. Hao’s research mainly lies in sustainable construction engineering and management. Her research interest covers construction waste management, zero carbon buildings, embodied building energy efficiency modelling, life cycle assessment for infrastructures and buildings, prefabricated construction projects, lean construction.
