After one year of postdoctoral fellowship in QUB, he moved back to France for another postdoctoral Fellowship under the supervision of Professor Eric Fouquet. After a European Science and Technology Fellowship in China, at East China University of Technology, in Shanghai, Eric Amigues took temporary lecturer position at Université Victor Segalen in Bordeaux. He is currently appointed as a Lecturer of the department of Chemistry at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University.

Research interests

Bio-imaging Positron emission tomography (PET) a bio-imaging techniques is a vital bio-imaging technique in oncology, we are currently developing new molecules that could lead to new radiotracer after incorporation of 18F. Carbohydrate chemistry Carbohydrates have attracted a lot of interest from chemist since the 19th century, whilst a lot has been done; carbohydrates still provide unique opportunities as starting material and as field of study.
