Dr. Chiachi Chang received his PhD degree from Department of Management at London School of Economics (LSE) in United Kingdom. Prior to joining XJTLU, he was the teaching fellow for the Organizational Behaviour course in Department of Management at LSE. The modules he has taught in XJTLU include Leadership, Performance management, Organisational Behaviour, People Management, e.t.c., and he also engaged in various excutive education programs for managerial psychology and emotional intelligence for managers. Furthermore, he was awarded as Outstanding Teacher by Teaching Excellence Awards in IBSS. The research interest of Dr. Chiachi Chang is employee psychology in employee-organization relationship. His primary focus is psychological contract and how it can influence employee behavioral outcomes. Furthermore, from the perspective of clinical and health psychology, he explored how the employee-organization relationship can shape the employee’s health outcomes. He has published journal papers in Annual Review of Organizational Psychology and Organizational Behavior, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Motivation and Emotion, and Personnel Review. He also contributed in the Handbook of Industrial, Work, and Organizational Psychology as well as the Oxford Handbook of Organizational Citizenship Behaviour. As for academic conferences, he has presented in top conferences such as Academy of Management Conference, and Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology Conference. In addition to academic engagement, Dr. Chiachi Chang is a Certified Clinical Psychologist with experience in individual psychotherapy (Cognitive-Behavior Therapeutic Approach) and psychological assessment. Furthermore, he has served as the Deputy Program Director of MSc in Management in IBSS since 2018.
