The study was carried out through reflections from two temporary structure bamboo build projects. Our preliminary study reveals that an AR interface for novice bamboo makers is more relevant in the design and planning stages than during the construction stage. It also found that the interface needs to be designed in conjunction with the use of physical models, instead of considering it as a substitute.
