Abstract

The book deals with advanced topics in Toponymy and Toponomastics at the diachronic level and explores toponymic systems connected to 'water roots' in Europe, in the context of Indo-European languages, under the lens of the so-called New Convergence Theory (NCT) and investigating possible language contact, in prehistoric times, between Indo-European and Semitic.
