Abstract

The book deals with a historical record from Ancient Greece inherent in a mysterious tablet found in what was believed to be Alcmene's grave, and with the fact that the characters inscribed in that tablet could have been from Linear B. Ancient Greeks, after the so-called 'Middle Ages of Greece', were already unable to read Linear B and had no longer memory of that ancient script and, therefore, they had forgotten their Mycenaean past.
