Dr. Zhou holds M. Sc. In Biochemistry from Wake Forest University and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from Cornell University, USA. Her previous experiences include working in recognized multinational corporations (MNCs), played roles including Materials Specialist in Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS), USA, Manager role at Sanofi Pasteur, USA, Tech. Transfer Project Lead at Samsung Biologics (SBL), Korea.  Later she took on important leadership roles as department head in BeiGene Guangzhou biologics manufacturing site, as well as VP of Innovent Biologics in Suzhou, China. She has extensive experience in biopharma technical work functions and technical team building, led technical functions covering from upstream cell culture (USP), downstream purification (DSP), drug product (DP), platform technologies (PT), to analytical development (AD) groups. By establishing sound technical systems including work processes, materials, lab management, regulatory compliance, new technology introduction, risk assessments, etc., her teams ensure biologics manufacturing continuity with high efficiency during different product phases. In addition,Dr. Zhou was also a member of BPOG and PDA industrial working groups, with multiple publications that are influential to the biopharma industry.
