Dr. Yangbin Chen is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computing at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. He obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from City University of Hong Kong and his B.Eng. in Automation from University of Science and Technology of China. Prior to joining XJTLU, he worked in a medical technology startup as machine learning VP. His research interests include few-shot learning, spoken language processing, and machine intelligence in healthcare applications.
