Dr. Xiaolong Lu is an Assistant Professor in the School of Intelligent Manufacturing Ecosystem at XJTLU. His research focuses on advanced materials processing, surface engineering, and additive manufacturing. Dr. Lu earned his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Soochow University in 2022. Prior to joining XJTLU, he worked as an Assistant Researcher and Postdoctoral Associate at the Suzhou Institute of Nano-Tech and Nano-Bionics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His international experience includes a visiting PhD position at Florida International University's Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering. Throughout his career, Dr. Lu has established extensive collaborations with researchers both within China and internationally, including partnerships with institutions such as Soochow University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Florida International University, and the Max-Planck-Institut für Eisenforschung GmbH.
