Stephanie Gibbons

Stephanie Gibbons is originally from Winnipeg, Canada. Over the past 20 years, Stephanie has been teaching English in a number of countries, including South Korea, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and China. She has taught at various levels including lower primary, middle, and high school as well as university level, including teacher training. Stephanie has also worked as a news presenter and editor for the national English TV station in Saudi Arabia. Since March 2020, she has been teaching at Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU), Suzhou, and is currently teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP) to first-year students at XJTLU. Stephanie holds a Certificate of TESOL, a Bachelor of Science (Zoology) from the University of Manitoba, Canada, along with a Masters in Applied Linguistics from the University of New England, Australia.
