Siyu CHEN is Lecturer in Translation and Interpreting at the Department of Literary and Translation Studies. She is an experienced bi-lateral and conference interpreting trainer in the higher education context and served as a lead interpreter for governments, international organisations, NGOs and leading multi-national commercial institutions for a decade. Her interpreting service clients include but not limited to: Ministry of Commerce in China, British Embassy Beijing, Richard Ivey School of Business, Tencent, Disney Land, Hugo Boss, Unilever, among others.
Siyu obtained her MA in Translation and Interpreting from the University of Nottingham and her BA in Chinese Translation and English as an International Language from Monash University. Prior to joining XJTLU, she was the Teaching Lecturer of Interpreting courses for Master of Translation and Interpreting students at SEU-Monash Joint Graduate School.
