Sheng Zhao is the assistant professor in Economics in IBSS, XJTLU. He holds a PhD (Management Science and Business Economics) from the University of Edinburgh and joined XJTLU in 2018. Before the PhD study, he had a working experience in Barclays Bank of UK in 2015. Shengs research interests are credit risk management, banking regulation, housing economics and Fintech. He has published articles in high-ranked academic journals, such as Journal of International Financial Institutions, Markets Money, European Journal of Finance, International Journal of Finance Economics and International review of Economics Finance. Sheng is supervising 1 PhD student.
