Dr. Peng Liu is the Head of HeXie Management Research Center (HeXie Academy), which is the Innovation Platform of Xian Jiaotong-Liverpool University.HeXie Academy is a comprehensive research center that offers multidisciplinary insights for research, teaching and training in management, education, sociology, and so on, aiming to contribute to the better development of human society. HeXie Academy is committed to inspiring, nurturing imagination and creativity, spurring leading and original innovation, making pioneering contributions to management theory and the new era development of China, through integrating eastern and western wisdom, combining history and future, bridging the gap between theory and practice.The center also supports the consulting and research projects of XIPU New Era Development Research Institute (NEDRI), XIPU Think Tank and ILEAD, in order to collectively serve the society through close collaboration and creation of new knowledge.
Research interests
His research interests have focused on the HeXie management theory, strategic entrepreneurship and transformation of enterprises (including family business) and industry, social constructivist perspective on leadership, discourse and narrative analysis of mentality improvement and reflexivity wisdom, Big data driven intelligent collaborative decision-making, Eco-system strategy and Industrial internet, Regional innovation eco-system and social governance, etc.
