Dr. Guangyu Ren is an Assistant Professor at the school of AI and Advanced Computing (AIAC) at XJTLU Entrepreneur College (Taicang). He completed his PhD at the Imperial College London under the supervision of Dr Tania Stathaki in 2023, M.Sc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Sheffield with distinction degree in 2018.  Following his graduation from Imperial, he undertook a postdoctoral research position in the Department of Computer Science at University College London. Additionally, he gained further postdoctoral experience at Mayo Clinic in the US, focusing on histopathology and CT image analysis.
