As an ethics reviewer on an institutional review board (IRB) of Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, my role involves evaluating research proposals to ensure they meet ethical standards. This includes assessing potential risks to participants, ensuring informed consent is obtained, and verifying that ethical considerations have been thoroughly addressed. The work helps protect research participants' rights and welfare while maintaining the integrity of research practices.
