This presentation aims to first share knowledge of the factors that may potentially influence students’ willingness to communicate (WTC) in English, and then describe my action research project regarding how to improve students’ WTC on an online EAP course at Xi’an Jiaotong – Liverpool University. Finally, it will end with critical reflections on the action research.
