Abstract

A brief overview of shared workspace cooperation is presented, where concepts and terms are clarified. Design aspects and desirable features of shared workspace cooperation tools and the relevance of operating systems supporting them are investigated. By focusing on three basic cooperation entities, user, tool, and object, features regarding shared workspace cooperation are identified.
