Abstract

Mobile computing devices are increasingly making use of multiple network technologies to provide seamless connectivity across changing operational contexts. Reliable delivery of video to mobile devices is particularly challenging in these dynamic and multi-network environments. This paper provides a report on our experience in applying Partially Reliable Stream Control Transmission Protocol (PR-SCTP) in a multi-network campus visit scenario. We provide a large scale evaluation of PR-SCTP along with specific site data. Our results show that PR-SCTP is a promising platform for supporting multi-network video delivery.
