Abstract

This paper presents the design of a multi-band cross-polarized dipole antenna for use in energy harvesting. The antenna is designed to work from 1.53 GHz to 2.47 GHz in its lower lower frequency band and from 4.90 GHz to 5.63 GHz in its upper frequency band, covering the GSM1800/1900, UMTS2100, 2.4G, and 5G Wi-Fi bands. The design and simulation are covered which show that the antenna is cross-polarised with omni-directional radiation patterns.
