Abstract

Okidanokh / Ocultamientos IV is a collaboration between mother and son, completed by Zubillaga when Cerrato passed away in Buenos Aires in February 2023 at the age of 92. Reflecting both artists’ expanded understanding of material and consciousness,this installation of silk screens and video develops ideas about the production of energy in relation to life on earthand cosmological strata. It is part of the collaborative series Reunion Familiar (RF): Recapitulations at the end of life.
