Abstract
Based on the "generic model for computer systems for expressive musical performance" proposed by Kirke* the "computer automated composition system" model is summarized. The model includes "music sample"? "music analysis", "music context", "composition system", "composition theory", "carrying media", "music evaluation". By reviewing the existing automated composition systems, the model proved to cover the techniques used in computer automated composition. The model modularizes the computer automated composition technology, which is convenient for researchers to explore the techniques of automated music composition from different perspectives.
