Dr. Ren Zhao holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics and a Masters degree in Mathematical Statistics from Wayne State University in the USA. He also received a B.Sc. degree in Information and Computing Science from Xian Jiaotong University.

 

Presently, Dr. Zhao serves as a Teaching Fellow at the Department of Foundational Mathematics at Xian Jiaotong-Liverpool University. Before his current position, he gained valuable research experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Harbin Institute of Technology Shenzhen in the School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation.

 

Dr. Zhaos research interests include various topics in applied mathematics such as Deep Learning for Partial Differential Equations, and Numerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations.
