Qian Dong received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computational engineering from the Technische Universität Dresden, Germany, in 2009 and 2013, respectively. From 2014 to 2015, she was a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Texas AM University, USA. She has worked in Sun Yat-sen University and she is currently working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Communications and Networking, Xi’an Jiaotong-liverpool University. Her research interests include ad hoc networks, mobile computing, 5G technology, and the Internet of Things (IoT). She was an invited reviewer for IEEE COMST, IEEE IoT Journal, IEEE TVT, JNCA, and others.I am recruiting Ph.D., MRes, and undergraduate students in 3 research directions:1. Handover design in SDN-based heterogeneous mobile networks2. Wireless indoor localization for mobile nodes with AI technology3. Unmanned intelligent vehicle systemStudents working with me usually can publish paper as the first author in journals and conferences.
