Chee Shen Lim received Bright Spark Scholarship to pursue the dual-PhD degrees at University of Malaya and Liverpool John Moores University, which he completed in 2013. He was a Research Scientist with the Experimental Power Grid Centre of the Agency for Science Technology and Research (A*STAR; 新加坡科技研究局), Singapore, an Assistant Professor, and then an Associate Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering with the University of Southampton (wholly owned campus in Malaysia;南安普顿大学). He was also the EEE deputy program leader, associate Editor (since 2015) for the IET Electric Power Applications Journal, IEEE senior member of US IEEE, and a UK Chartered Engineer (CEng). He joined the EEE Department of XJTLU in Nov21 and currently serves as the Programme Director of Electrical Engineering BEng. His research interest is in the area shared among by power electronics, control, energy, and intelligent algorithms. He has been working in the fundamental research works related industries of electric transportation, multi-motor and multiphase machines drives, power grid controls, and microgrids.------------------Recruiting PhD research students:I am actively looking for PhD candidates with genuine research interest in the broad area of smart grids, power electronics, electric drives and transportation, feel free to get in touch cheeshen.lim@xjtlu.edu.cn.
