Abstract

The title complex [CuY(Gly)5(H2O)2] (ClO4)5H2O was synthesized in aqueous solution and its crystal structure was determined by X-ray diffraction method. The crystal is triclinic, space group P1̄ with a = 1.1751(3) nm, b = 1.2410(3) nm, c = 1.4448(3) nm, α=72.97 (2)°, β=71.82(2)°, γ = 60.96(2)°, V= 1.7244(6) nm3, Z = 2, dc = 2.08 g/cm3. The crystal is composed of one dimensional chain of infinite length.
