Abstract

As an encouraging innovation and breakthrough of management model, knowledge management is required by the management practice of hydropower development enterprises. However, there are still several limitations and insufficiencies in current practice on this issue. Aiming at remedying the shortages and weakness, we develop a knowledge management model based on the business process of such enterprises, which acts from the following three aspects: establishment of knowledge management strategy, adjustment of organizational structure and construction of organizational culture. In this paper, we suggest the integration of knowledge management processes and business process implementation, which would contribute to knowledge transfer, sharing, utilization and creation. Finally, example shows that the proposed model is exciting and could provide great help for knowledge management. By placing serious consideration of organizational context, we've offered a more practical contribution and sought an effective method to this field consequently.
