Abstract

Lead-acid batteries play a crucial role in our daily life. However, their efficiency deteriorates due to the accumulation of chemical substance, known as sulfate (SO2) on the surface of batteries' plates. Hereby, the methods to overcome this problem is investigated in this work. A workable desulfator found online is adopted in this study. Further, a new and more efficient circuitry is proposed. The advantages and disadvantages of the new circuit is also outlined.
