Abstract
An energy-efficient semi-blind receiver structure for green wireless multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems is proposed. A reference data sequences designed offline are superimposed in source signal sequences to enable Doppler spread estimation and ambiguity elimination caused by equalization based on the independent component analysis (ICA), without consuming extra power and spectral resources. The bit error rate (BER) performance achieved approaches the perfect condition with ideal channel state information (CSI).
