Abstract

A digital signature is a piece of information which identifies the sender of a document. The digital signature is realized by encrypting the content of the document, using the sender's cryptographic key. This makes the signature unique both for the file, and for the owner of the key. Any changes made to the document affect the signature, offering them both integrity and authentication. This work has the purpose to apply a digital signature on a message made of plenty of quantum bits (qutrits). The message under study is an image file.
