Abstract

Recent research into wearable antennas has provoked increasingly widespread concern about the use of wireless body area network (WBAN) applications. This paper reviews state-of-the-art wearable antennas on textile materials focusing on designs with dual band and UWB and wearable antennas with metamaterials with single band and dual band. This paper also presents the challenges and considerations when designing a suitable wearable antenna.
