Paris - Black Balloons - Artist Breath 2014

"Through the concept of 'nearby open space', I hope to show the creation generated in the urban public space, and the audience can rediscover the wonders of the community space by taking a walk."
- Xiaorui Zhang (Curator)

The origin of the exhibition concept :
The Dada artists of Paris in the 1920s followed in the footsteps of the post-impressionists of the 19th century, portraying pedestrians in the rebuilt city of Baron Haussmann, including new parks, squares and boulevards. Dadaism was influenced by the continuation of post-impressionism, which began painting outdoors, and post-impressionism was more reflective of the industrial revolution and the city.
