    Abstract

This article examines the potential influences which team learning orientation and team conflicts of university students' societies as subjects might have on team performance using quasi-experiment method. The findings show that when the task difficulty is low, team learning orientation and team conflict predict team performance together; when the task difficulty is high, team learning orientation is the only predictor of team performance. Functional complementary relationship between team learning orientation and conflicts may exist in low task difficulty; whereas team learning orientation has more impact on performance in high task difficulty context.
